The AWC-Madison Chapter is home to a number of entrepreneurial members working as independent consultants in a variety of communication fields.
The Independent Communicators Round Table provides an opportunity for this network of colleagues to explore professional and business issues and share strategies for success. The group meets monthly (except July and August) to address a chosen topic.

Jill Muehrcke is always looking for opportunities to apply the love of editing and proofreading she has gained from over 30 years of editing, writing, and proofing in all sorts of subjects, including education, science, literature, finance, nonprofit work, psychology, business, human resources, and many more. She is the founding editor of Nonprofit World, an award-winning international magazine; has edited hundreds of books and manuscripts; and has been acclaimed for her ability to turn the most confusing work into writing that’s clear and interesting to read.

I’ve co-authored two books, one on spelling and one on miniatures and am currently writing a book about Wisconsin’s public gardens. I’ve written for newspapers, newsletters, magazines and software.
